In origin a Numenorean from Umbar Sangarunya was born to parents who followed the worship of the Dark lord. Forced into exile as a child, he and his mother fled across the wastes of Harad to the region of Sirayn in the south-east where the Nazgul Storm-king held sway. He rose rapidly in the ranks of the Storm-king’s army and became a military captain of great ability. He wears a surcoat and caries a shield emblazoned with a dragon and wears the distinctive Numenorean Karma helmet.
This figure carries a standard emblazoned with a serpent, one of the two great symbols used by the Haradrim, the other being the sun. Being a standard-bearer he is richly attired and wears a full-length coat of lamellar armour, comprising interlocking plates of hardened leather.
As is the custom with Haradan warriors he wears a sash about his waist and is armed with a single bladed scimitar.

This figure shows a peasant farmer from the Northern part of Middle-earth from one of the many farmsteads and Mannish dwellings that can be found in Eriador. For although the three kingdoms in the north were swept away in wars long ago, along with their great lords and warriors, the people remain, farming their lands as best they can in these troubled times and watched over by the mysterious rangers who do their best to protect them.

While the Elvenking and his closest retainers are Sindarin in origin, most of the Elves in his Mirkwood realm are Sylvan elves, skilled in woodcraft of all kinds and masters of tracking and stealth. This figure, a herbalist, is a Sylvan rather than a Sindarin Elf as I always envisage the former as having curly as well as straight hair. The knife is for gathering herbs rather than a weapon.

Part of Mordor's army in the battle of the Pelennor fields the black Troll-men were a fearsome breed that fought with the Variags and Orcs. Bred with men in the distant past, the Troll-men are far more intelligent than true Trolls but still retain much of their hardness and strength. They have thick hides, though not so thick as to find armour un-neccesary and fight mostly with clubs and axes. They provides the armies of Harad with a terrifying front-line of shock troops that is able to break all but the most resolute of enemy formations.
