The Lord of the Rings Online™ - Shadows of Angmar™. Special Edition Mithril Miniatures Witch-king™. The Witch-King was also known as the Black Captain, Lord of the Nazgul, Lord of Minas Morgul, Lord of the Nine Riders and the Wraith-King.

Mithril Miniatures has teamed up with Codemaster™ to produce a 32mm scale metal figure of the Witch-king of Angmar™. It is included in the Special Edition of the software game The Lord of the Ring Online™ - Shadows of Angmar™. This primed figure is only available in this version of the game at the moment.

40800 Witch-kings invade Europe this April.

We are waiting for clearance from the licensor to resell the figure but currently it is only available in the special edition of the game. There were 40800 figures produced, so no doubt these figures will be offered on EBay. This is the highest number of any Mithril figure produced. We had 10 people working on these figures for 9 days. It took 1060kg of white metal and 25 litres of Mithril undercoat to complete this order. We are planning many new releases from Angmar subject to approval from Tolkien Enterprises.

Who is the Witch-King? The Witch-King was originally a great king of Men. In the Second Age, he and eight other men were given the nine rings of Power by the Dark Lord of Mordor, Sauron. The Rings gave them incredible power, which they used to further their own ambitions, but eventually the Rings completely corrupted them and turned them into the ghastly undead Nazgul.
