Mithril Miniatures. - Mithril Wizards Miniatures.

Mithril wizards and magesMithril has produced many of the Wizards that inhabit Middle-earth.

In J. R. R. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth, their are many beings that are magical and many that can cast spells or have spell-like abilities.

The most famous of these being are the Istari. They were of the Maiar, spirits of the same order of the Valar, but lesser in power. They came to Middle-earth to help counter the presence of Sauron, who was also a Maiar.

Saruman was the leader of the Istari and was called Saruman the White until he renamed himself Saruman of Many Colors when he allied himself with Sauron.

Gandalf the Grey was next and the most widely traveled and well known throughout the lands, and was also called Mithrandir. He helped Frodo and Aragorn in their travels and fought against the Ringwraiths. He died fighting a Balrog and was reborn as Gandalf the White, replacing Saruman as head of the order.

There was also Radagast the Brown and 2 Blue wizards as well. Radagast loved birds and nature and was unaware of Saruman's betrayal when he told Gandalf about his summons to Isengard, Saruman's stronghold.
