Mithril - Knights of Dol Amroth™ Painting Competition '09.

Mithril judges, Lars Edman and Chris Tubb, selected the winners for this competition.

  1. Wendy Rafalski won first Prize.
  2. Nikolai Egold won second Prize.
  3. David Daines won third Prize.

Requirements:

  • Submit at least 3 different miniatures from the Knights of Dol Amroth range.
  • Minimal digital manipulation is allowed. E.g.: Cropping, contrast adjustment, cleaning up minor marks on the image, colour correction is allowed while digitally painting the figure or adding a digital backdrop is not allowed. NO digital text or signatures are allowed.
  • Diorama Building is allowed but excessive altering of the figures is not allowed. Base removal is allowed to fit with a scene.

Entries were judged on painting skill and photographic quality of entry. Mithril webmaster will crop and adjust contrast of entries if necessary.

The Prizes:

First Prize: The Battle for Helms Deep. The winner will be the first to get the entire set.

Second Prize: 50 Euro voucher to spend on any Mithril or Prince August item from our websites.

Third Prize: 20 Euro voucher to spend on any Mithril or Prince August item from our websites.

Winning entries will be asked to submit larger images of the figures shown and they may be used on the website or even other advertisments for the Mithril range.
