The men of Westernesse or the Dunedain were the descendents of the faithful of Numenor and though in the Third-age their foothold in Middle-earth was somewhat precarious, they nonetheless maintained their power and influence through the Kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor. The Dunedain had, of course, some Elven blood in their veins and were versed in Elven-lore. This mage (or magician) uses spells of essence. He is un-armoured and wears the robes appropriate to his calling.
