From the Series 'Thorin and Dain'. Dain was the leader of the assault on the orcs of Moria, and was responsible for killing the Orc leader Azog, and (then) clearing Moria of their evil. But he did not enter Moria and forbade others to do so as he became aware of the dreadful Balrog, still roaming the mines of Moria. |
