Image above of Gildor has been modified by the painter, slightly moving the arm and changing the dagger for the sword. This version is NOT available for sale. Painting Guide: Before you start painting, assemble the figure except the sword that is best painted separately. Gildor is given a green 924 cloak with a wash of 897 and highlights of 890. The Hair is painted with 877 and washed with 984 and then dry brushed 877 mixed with 847. The skin tone is created with 815 and, a small quantity of 928. Then dry brushed given a light wash of 875 and 928. Very subtle highlights of 928 are given to the tip of the elbow cheeks and knuckles. The bracelets are painted with 878. In-between the bracelets, a thin line of 950 is painted to add depth also, a slightly darker skin tone is painted around the bracelets on the arm to form slight shadows. Leggings are painted with 881 and a wash of 890. Surcoat 819 with wash of 875 to give depth to the folds and dry bush with 819 + white with, stripes of 943 which follows the shape of the cloth. 950 is used for the sword scabbard and 864 used for hilt and buckles. 981 is used in the Breast Plate with a wash of 984 and the design picked out using 857 and 951. The boots are given a coat of 940 with a wash of 822 left in the folds to give a worn effect. The rocks on the base painted with 877 with a strong wash of 955 with highlights added with touch of 990 and given a dry brushing of 820, The grass is painted with Green 890, and dry brushed with 924.
