Fram, son of Frumgar – Scatha’s Bane by David Daines

The picture above is Fram, son of Frumgar – Scatha’s Bane (MX421 - Designer Mithril). The head of ‘Scatha’ is taken from an unknown miniature which was going waste.

Swan boat of Galadriel by David Daines

Swan boat of Galadriel. The Boat is from an ornament I found – like the ring finding its way to Bilbo, it was meant to be!! It just fits the requirement perfect. The oars and oar lock (or whatever they are called) are being made from MacDonalds fast food restaurant coffee stirrer.

'Shelob's Lair' by David Daines

Shelob's Lair (boxed set) - The Phial of
Galadriel is actually a grain of wheat bulb and is not a digital effect. The spider webs are the genuine article, stretched and glued in place. I found that the web diffuses the light when viewing, but unfortunately obscures Frodo at the moment.

'Beorning and Radagast'

Beorning and Radagast. The idea was to depict the two having a chat during a break in wood chopping. The assumption being that Radagast would probably have encountered Beorn during his wanderings. I'm glad I finally done something
with these two as they've been unpainted since first issued!
